For current educators
If you are currently certified with Boston Association for Childbirth Education, and seek dual certification with Evolution Perinatal Education Collaborative
I am currently developing a program that will "grandmother" those that I trained with BACE into dual certification with Evolution Perinatal Education Collaborative.
With dual certification, you'll be invited to participate as a panel member in the brand new Certification Conference I'm dreaming about.
Certification Conference intention:
-
Recertifying CBEs will present portions of their childbirth class and field questions from attendees about where they are currently teaching, and what they've learned from being an educator
-
Guest speakers from the birth community at large, with CE/CEUs available for those recertifying

This is in development stage...
Let's discuss! Over the years, many people have approached me to help with curriculum development and other support, after training but not certifying with other organizations.
Certification with EPEC would rely on how long ago you took your training, and what kind of materials you are using.
There are three scenarios:
-
In many cases, I can use 1:1 mentoring hours to support you to certification. Mentoring meetings = $100/hour, typically between 5 and 10 needed
-
I am working on a cohort series that will allow for folks who took my training in the past 2 years, to work together toward certification in a small group setting
-
For all others, there's always a seat for you in our next Evolution Childbirth Educator training

If you are have taken another Childbirth Educator training, and wish to certify with Evolution Perinatal Education Collaborative
